Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sports

The graduate program of Physical Education and Sports Department is designed to prepare graduate students as experts on one of the following fields of study; coaching pedagogy, exercise physiology, growth & maturation, motor behavior (including control, development & learning), sports management, sports psychology, and teaching/curriculum-planning in sports sciences. The graduate program equips students with the skills and knowledge to conduct research and to interpret the results to be of value to further development in the related fields.

Outcomes

  • Interpret and contribute the knowledge in interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary groups
  • Provide education and training to public and private institutions
  • Develop, present, and contribute to programs (career development programs etc.)

  • Launch national and international formations (organizations, institutions, & activities) and contribute to sport industry
  • Have the capability to work with a team

  • Offer solutions to social, cultural, scientific, and ethical problems
  • Utilize communication skills at academic environments
  • Use at least one foreign language at advanced level for writing and speaking
