Course Objectives

The course aims to equip learners with advanced research skills in the sports sciences field. During the course, students design an independent research study in their area of interest. The course uses a problem-based instructional approach to develop learners’ practical skills in identifying the research problem, synthesizing the literature, designing the research, analyzing data, publishing, and following research ethics.

Bu ders öğrencilere beden eğitimi ve spor alanonda araştırma yapabilmek için entegre bir çerçeve sunmaktadır. Bu derste öğrenciler beden eğitimi ve spor alanında bağoımsız bir araştırma çalışması tasarlarlar. Ders öğrencilerin etik sorunları araştırmak, veri toplamak ve yayınlamak gibi becerileri uygulama konusunda geliştirmek için probleme dayalı öğrenme tarzını kullanır.

  • Identify a research problem that will be subsequently developed into a research proposal
  • Conduct a literature review by critically evaluating published research articles
  • Write research questions and hypotheses
  • Evaluate the various research designs for sports studies

  • Understand the ethical and publication issues in sports sciences
