Ph.D. in Mining Engineering
The program through doctoral dissertation aided by courses aims to provide maturity in thr knowledge as well as to advance it beyond the level already known. The ability to conduct independent research, the creativity in the tools and techniques of research, ability for formulating steps to reach new synthesis are the main objectives.
Outcomes
- Graduates will conduct theoretical and experimental research to solve mining engineering problems, develop new methods and produce new knowledge.
- Graduates will participate and/or be leaders in team works.
- Graduates will have expertise on advance information technologies in mining engineering.
- Graduates will adhere to the social, scientific and ethical codes in collecting, interpreting and reporting the data in all professional activities.
- Graduates will have the ability to effectively communicate, written or oral, the methods and the results of their work in national and international platforms.
- Graduates will have the ability to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, prepare course material, develop new courses and supervise thesis works.
