Outcomes
- Enhance their contemporary and advanced knowledge in the field of psychological counseling and guidance by original thinking and research at expertise level.
- Have the required advanced theoretical, process and technique knowledge and effective practice skills to practice individual and group counseling with different client groups.
- Internalize the principle of life-long learning to improve knowledge, skills and proficiencies of the field.
- Evaluate the knowledge in the field of psychological counseling and guidance with a criticizing approach, produce new ideas and methods.
- Plan and conduct original research in the field of psychological counseling and guidance.
- Effectively use the statistical programs in the field, accurately use, interpret and report statistical procedures.
- Take leadership role in interdisciplinary, multi-disciplinary and intra-disciplinary original studies.
- Contribute to the accumulation of knowledge by publishing articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals, which are related with the field of psychological counseling and guidance.
- Deliver original oral and written presentations at national and international conferences in the field of psychological counseling and guidance and participate in educational activities.
- Follow the technological innovations in the field, use them and contribute to the society by presenting these innovations to the society.
- Adhere to and practices the ethical values and principles in their social lives and professional activities (research, practice).
- Have the effective communication skills in English (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) and communicate effectively with experts, related organizations, institutions and colleagues by using these skills.
- Spot the problems in the field of psychological counseling and guidance, conducts scientific research and develop solutions to problems or solve them.
- Produce unique and creative solutions to the professional matters by collaborating with professional associations and communities; take leadership roles in professional topics.
- Contribute to the national and international policy development studies to improve the services in psychological counseling and guidance field.
- Become aware of the up-to-date and global problems and contribute to the development of the society by using knowledge and skills in the field.
