Ph.D. in Food Engineering

The program through doctoral dissertation aided by courses aims to provide maturity in thr knowledge as well as to advance it beyond the level already known. The ability to conduct independent research, the creativity in the tools and techniques of research, ability for formulating steps to reach new synthesis are the main objectives.

Outcomes

  • An ability to actively and skillfully conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information gathered from different sources.
  • An ability to design methods to detect, define and trouble shoot of a problem, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  • Having potential to develop new ideas and products.

  • An ability to find solutions for worldwide, environmental and social problems.
  • Understanding of ethical values and responsibilities and having ethical behaviors.
  • An ability to work in a team.
  • Being successful and efficient on information transfer and teaching to new researchers and engineers in food area.
