Ph.D. in International Relations
At the doctorate level, the program is designed to specialize students in theory, methodology, and historical and political dimensions of International Relations with a particular emphasis on the Middle East and Europe with which Turkey has relations of great importance given the fact that it is geographically located in these areas.
Outcomes
- Do scientific research, analyze knowledge, and make contributions to the literature in the field of International Relations.
- Follow and contribute to the theoretical debates of the discipline of IR.
- Aware of the latest methods of the discipline of IR and are able to use them in their research.
- Can establish connections between different disciplines of the social sciences.
- View social and international developments from a holistic perspective.
- Establish advanced-level oral and written communication skills in both academic and practical spheres of life.
- Create original ideas by achieving habits of inquiry.
- Possess advanced research skills and ethics.
- Have social sensitivity and moral responsibility.
