M.S. with thesis in Geodetic and Geographical Information Technologies

M.S. Program through courses and thesis aims to provide advanced level of knowledge in the field as well as tools and techniques of research with their implementation within the context of a comprehensive thesis.

Outcomes

  • know the fundamentals of remote sensing, space geodezy and geographic information systems, can bring together necessary tools to solve problems they face in these areas, can integrate these disciplines,
  • can independently define the information, data and tools necessary to solve problems, can reach them at international level, can complete missing information, can educate herself/himself and can keep her/his knowledge up to date,
  • can develop innovative approaches when solving remote sensing, space geodezy and geographic information systems problems,
  • can use common remote sensing, space geodezy and geographic information systems and office software effectively,
  • can independently prepare and realize technical and management plans of remote sensing, space geodezy and geographic information systems projects considering quality aspects,
  • can express herself/himself in English fluently and can make presentations in any social setting,
  • pay regard to social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in remote sensing, space geodezy and geographic information systems studies and has a historical perspective in these fields.
