Course Objectives

At the end of this course the students:

will learn the basic concepts of organizational psychology 

will learn organizational orientation

will learn the basic theories of motivation at work

will learn personality and performance relationship

will learn safety and safety leadership

will have basic knowledge of teams and managing conflict

will learn the influencing tactics

will learn the structure of organizations

will learn stress factors at work

will learn to reduce turnover

will learn to increase job satisfaction and performance

 

 


Course Content

In this course, major areas of industrial and organizational psychology, such as job analysis, performance appraisal, personnel selection, training, work motivation, job satisfaction, leadership and organizational structure and design are covered with an emphasis on current issues and problems. The orientation of the course is planned to be a theoretical one.

After completng this course successfully,

The students will be able to:

diognose the current problems of the organizations

identify any hidden human resource problems

know how to orient and onboard employees

learn to motivate the employees in geeral

know how to organize teams based on their functions

learn about the issues related to personality and behaviors at work
