Course Objectives
The main objective of the course is gain an understanding of the concept "psychological trauma". Another objective is to get familiar with the concepts of psychoanalysis which help us to understand the effect of the traumatic event on the mind. At the end of the semester the student is expected to acquire a deep understanding of psychological reactions to traumatic events which will help him/her to understand the rational of trauma interventions.
