Course Objectives
This course is designed to teach neural data analysis to final year students who are planning to take the cognitive neuroscience path in their postgraduate work. Students will learn how to process EEG data in MATLAB.
Course Content
The major aim is to involve the students in a typical research activity in their field of interest including designing of research, data collection, analysis of the results, and writing up a research report. Areas in which workshops will be offered will be announced, together with the course codes, each semester. Prerequisite: Consent of the instructor.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be comfortable with using several MATLAB toolboxes commonly employed to process electrophysiological data.
