Course Objectives
At the end of the course students are expected;
· To develop a vision for EE and ESD in an international, national and individual levels.
· To develop their capacity to prepare a lecture on ESD,
· To develop their ability to design a research proposal on ESD.
· To feel themselves capable of discussing issues in ESD.
Course Content
Provides detailed information on the history of evolution of Environmental Education (EE) and education for sustainable development (ESD) with emphasis on global and national milestones and the related research.

Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:
define sustainable development as a basic concept.
evaluate the history and future of ESD.
