Course Objectives

The main objectives of the course are:

  • to introduce students to the process of writing a research paper intended for publication
  • to enhance the skills and experience of students in research formulation and academic writing
  • to provide knowledge on the conventions and underlying principles of academic writing

Course Content

This graduate course focuses on the process of transforming research into publication. In this course, students will produce a publication based upon research previously conducted as a part of a studio project or a course in the Graduate Program in Conservation of Cultural Heritage. Students are required to tale this course with the same instructors as their previous course in which they conducted research.
