Course Objectives
The objectives of this course are:
- Understand the integrated reservoir management concept and procedures
- Learn integrated team structures
- Understand the contributions of different disciplines to reservoir management studies
- Learn about techniques for reservoir modeling and performance prediction
- Understand application of Integrated Reservoir management methodology for green/brown fields, waterflooding operations, EOR operations, naturally fractured reservoirs, offshore field management, heavy oil fields and tight gas sands.
- Analyze Resevoir Management Case Histories, discuss the applications and results.
Course Content
Analysis of an oil field using all Petroleum Engineering tools. Reservoir description and analysis using field data. Prediction of future performance for solution gas drive reservoirs. Material balance techniques with field examples. (AF)
