Course Learning Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:
- Identify the suitable sites for marina projects using data for marina design parameters
- Determine the capacity of a marina using market analysis
- Compute long term and extreme statistics for wind and wave parameters
- Calculate wave parameters using fetch, wave generation and wave transformation processes
- Design the water area of the marina layout using national and international guidelines
- Design rubblemound breakwater
- Describe and discuss marina design in terms of environmental and social impacts
