Course Objectives

by the end of this course the students will be able to

show awareness for the research studies in the field of science education

evaluate the related literature

propose a research study

analyze the data

interpret the results

take primary responsibility to conduct a research and devote quality of time

show motivation and effort in producing quality of work

write a manuscript considering the APA style

show concern for ethical issues while conducting research

Manifest scientific attitudes and interests

Maintain a sense of curiosity about natural phenomena

Solve problems by applying scientific principles and procedures.

Communicate effectively using science language and reasoning

Maintain an open and questioning mind towards new ideas and alternative points of view

 


Course Content

Individual research or study with a faculty member, arranged in advance of registration. a one-two page proposal should be submitted to the instructor during the first week of the term specifying the scope of the project, project activities, meeting times, completion date, and student products.
