Course Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, students will be able to:

1. demonstrate knowledge of the major theories and methods in the study of social and moral

development;

2. demonstrate knowledge of the unique developmental processes that occur in early childhood

social and moral development;

3. identify early tasks of social development such as attachment and temperament

4. explain how family, peers, school and media affect children’s social and moral development.
