Course Objectives

The course is aimed to introduce the statistical applications in different fields from data mining, machine learning to neuroscience, bioinformatics, systems biology. The fundamental statistical approaches in predefined fields will be presented.

Course Learning Outcomes

- There will be online visitors from USA for about 8 weeks of the course. Visitors, all with PhD, will discuss their fields and experiences. 

Special thanks goes to Umut Özbek for all her ideas and organization of visitors!

- The students can learn different applications of statistics in Turkey and around the world.

- They can make short researches in distinct applications of statistics.
