Course Objectives
To give the student a broad understanding of the major classes of heterocyclic compounds with nomenclature, structure, properties, syntheses and reactions.
Course Content
The relationship between structure and chemical and physical properties of pi-deficient and pi-excessive heterocyclic compounds. The synthesis of heterocyclic compounds are briefly discussed.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to extend their knowledge and discuss the topics related to heterocyclic chemistry.
