Course Objectives

The course aims to:

  • Reinforce international students’ academic and theoretical knowledge through local planning studio applications and office practice.
  • Provide international graduate students with professional training environments where they can apply planning knowledge to practical tasks.
  • Support the development of workplace discipline, professional etiquette, and ethical responsibility in organizational and institutional contexts.
  • Enhance students’ skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication through exposure to real projects and institutional practices.

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Apply theoretical and methodological knowledge of city and regional planning to studio and workplace tasks.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior, workplace discipline, and appropriate etiquette in different institutional and cultural settings.
  • Develop practical skills in data collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation within professional planning contexts.
  • Work effectively as part of interdisciplinary and multicultural teams in real-world projects.
