Course Objectives


Course Content

Hydrologic analysis in water resources: Precipitation, streamflow and hydrograph analysis. Hydrologic flood routing. Statistical analysis in water resources. Groundwater hydrology. Engineering applications.


Course Learning Outcomes

Having successfully completed this course, the student will be able to

1. Analyze the hydrologic cycle and the system concept.

2. Analyze the precipitation

3. Calculate the design (peak) flow for a hydraulic structure.

4. Calculate the streamflow at a given river cross-section.

5. Identify and calculate the characteristics of a basin.
