The aim of this course is to guide students through the process of designing, conducting, and completing an original research study in the field of architecture, under the supervision of a faculty advisor.

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Formulate and refine a research problem that addresses a significant issue in city planning, grounded in relevant theories and literature.
  • Develop and implement an appropriate research design using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods suited to the research objectives.
  • Produce a coherent, well-structured, and academically rigorous thesis that meets the university’s scholarly and formatting requirements.
