Course Objectives

At the end of this course, the student will acquire knowledge of:

  • Historical roots of psychology
  • Basic theories of psychology 
  • Basic research methods of psychology
  • Different fields in psychology

Course Content

An introduction to general theories and methods of psychology; basic concepts and research findings in major areas of psychology, such as perception, learning, cognition and emotion.
