Course Objectives
This course aims to introduce the students to the various modern concepts such as critical phenomena, renormalization group flow, and conformal symmetry; in addition, the course aims to provide the students with various techniques in the framework of conformal bootstrap.
Course Content
Critical phenomena; Euclidean (Wiener) path integrals; Renormalization group flow; Conformal symmetry ; Symmetry of Maxwell theory; Analytical and numerical conformal bootstrap
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of the semester, students should have conceptual grasp of critical phenomena, Wiener path integrals, conformal symmetry. Moreover, they should be able to use techniques of conformal bootstrap program to solve or constrain conformal field theories.
