Course Objectives
Students study and present topics under the guidance of a faculty member.
Course Content
Students prepare and present a progress report or literature review on their thesis topic. The course is normally taken by students in their third semester.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Students will develop the ability to present scientific results effectively to an audience that may not be familiar with the specific research topic, thereby enhancing their skills in clear and accessible scientific communication.
- Students will acquire the competence to address and respond to questions posed during presentations in a professional and confident manner, demonstrating both subject mastery and communication skills.
- Students will gain an understanding of the fundamental stages of conducting scientific work, ranging from formulating research questions to articulating, presenting, and defending their findings in a scholarly context.
