Course Objectives

This course aims to provide the students with the fundamental mathematical tools extensively used in advanced Quantum Mechanics and graduate level Electrodynamics.


Course Content

Functions of a complex variable, special functions of mathematical physics, partial differential equations.


Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, the student will be exposed to the fundamental tools of Complex Calculus, one-dimensional Green functions and "special functions" extensively used in advanced Quantum Mechanics and graduate level Electrodynamics.
