Course Objectives

Electromagnetism is the classical theory of electricity and magnetism, and is of paramount importance in the foundations of our modern understanding of physics. In this course, the students will learn the basics of electrostatics and magnetostatics, and will discover how various laws of these seemingly different phenomena can be consolidated in a unified and self-consistent way via the Maxwell equations.
