Course Objectives

  • To provide Ph.D. students with a structured platform to present their ongoing research and receive constructive feedback.

  • To enhance students’ ability to critically evaluate academic work, including their own and that of their peers.

  • To develop effective scholarly communication skills, both oral and written.


Course Content

Provides a forum for Ph.D. students to present, discuss and exchange ideas about their graduate research. Investigation of research topics relevant to major issues of the field.


Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Present their research ideas, methodology, and findings to an academic audience.
  • Critically assess research papers and presentations in the field.
  • Engage in scholarly discussions, providing and incorporating feedback.
  • Demonstrate improved skills in structuring and delivering academic presentations.
