Course Objectives

Compute integrals by the Riemann Sum definition and use it to make approximations and area / volume computations. Emphasis the Fundamental Therorem of Calculus and its applications. Make use of basic techniques to compute proper and improper integrals. Compute limits of sequences and infinite series. Represent functions using power series. Make use of Taylor Theorem in approximations.


Course Content

The Riemann Integral. Mean Value Theorem for integrals. Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Techniques to evaluate anti derivative families various geometric and physical applications. Sequences improper integrals infinite series of constants power series and Taylors series with applications.
