Course Objectives
This course aims to:
- encourage students to undertake independent or collaborative inquiry within the field of industrial design.
- support the development of self-directed research projects under faculty supervision.
- foster critical thinking and in-depth engagement with a selected topic.
Course Content
One or more students choose and study a topic in Industrial design field under the guidance of a department member.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- identify and define a focused research or design topic within the field of industrial design under the supervision of a faculty supervisor
- demonstrate independent inquiry skills through the development and execution of a self-directed project or study
- apply critical thinking and analytical methods to investigate complex issues relevant to industrial design
- present well-documented outcomes in the form of reports and presentations.
