Course Objectives

By the end of the course, the students will:

  • Know basic concepts of technical drawing and 2D - 3D thinking.
  • Know the main concept of design detailing.
  • Interpret technical drawings.

Course Content

Lettering, applied geometry, orthographic drawing and sketching. Pictorial methods, axonometric, oblique and isometric projections and their applications, these are the major subjectcts to be covered.


Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course the students will be able to:

  • Develop the surface of 3D objects. Draw basic geometrical forms.
  • Draw objects with technical details.
  • Learn the fundamentals of producing sectional views.
  • Draw assembly drawing with dimensioning.
  • Draw technical drawings digitally.
