Course Objectives
You are expected to
- understand the basic principles of measurement in educational and psychological contexts
- gain experience in constructing educational and psychological measuring instruments
- learn techniques for testing the validity and reliability of instruments
- develop skills in analyzing data collected through their instruments
Course Content
Practicum providing experience in the construction of educational and psychological measuring instruments.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Explain fundamental principles of measurement in educational and psychological contexts.
- Design educational and psychological measuring instruments.
- Evaluate the validity and reliability of measurement instruments using appropriate techniques.
- Analyze data collected from measurement instruments and interpret the results.
- Critically assess existing instruments in terms of their psychometric properties.
- Communicate findings related to instrument development and validation in a technical report.
