Course Objectives
* Understanding geology in the 3rd dimension by integration of various data
* Interpretation of faults at depth using seismic and borehole data
* Interpretation of horizon surfaces
* Development of solid models
* Construction of regional cross-sections
* cross-section balancing
* paleogeographic reconstructions
* resource targeting
Course Content
Stratigraphic principles applied to subsurface. Essentials of reservoir geology and formation evaluation. Laboratory work include lithofacies analysis, correlation of well logs, subsurface maps and illustrations.

At the end of the course students will be proficient on
* interpretation of faults in 2d and 3D data
