ECTS Credit:4.0
Department:Molecular Biology and Genetics
Language of Instruction:English
Level of Study:Undergraduate
Course Coordinator:Assoc.Prof.Dr. ERKAN KİRİŞ
Offered Semester:Fall Semesters.

Course Objectives

The course is designed as a research project where all students will have the opportunity to  carry out the experiments hands on. The primary objective is for the students to learn how research projects are organized from start to the end.

Course Content

The experiments have been designed to acquaint the students with the fundamental techniques of molecular biology, and with selected applications of recombinant DNA technology. The course has been designed for the students of Molecular Biology & Genetics Program.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. Organize the research project on a weekly basis

2. Curate the literature and online resources to address research question

3. Organize materials needed for the experiments

4. Rationally choose experiments that can best address the research question

5. Evaluate and troubleshoot data.
