Course Objectives
Course Content
This course aims to offer a practical guide to statistical applications for graduate students in the social and behavioral sciences to enhance their qualitative skills by providing the fundamentals of social research and statistics especially utilized in applied settings. Topics include quantitative research methods, experimental, observational, and single case research designs, assessment of measurement quality, descriptive statistics, estimation methods, hypothesis testing, analyses of variances, correlation, linear regression, and factor analyses.
