know the basic theories, principles and various applications of analytical chemistry and will gain laboratory skills in performing some common analytical techniques

By the end of this course the students will be able to
- interpret various principles and theory behind chemical equilibria and quantitative analyses
- solve analytical chemistry problems in different fields of analytical chemistry
- determine precision, accuracy of laboratory experiments and characterize their errors
- develop skills in doing different kinds of analytical chemistry laboratory experiments such as gravimetry, titration and electrochemistry
- participate in team-work while performing laboratory experiments
- write proper reports for the experiments they performed.
