Course Objectives

The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the strategies and ethical issues related to writing and presenting academic research.


Course Content

This seminar course must be taken by all M.S. students working towards their M.S. thesis. The students taking the course are required to make presentations on their thesis studies and prepare progress reports and final reports.


Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, the students will be able to:

  • identify ethical issues related to conducting research and writing academic text,
  • determine a suitable outline and strategy for writing an academic text,
  • prepare a presentation for describing or defending an academic work.
