By the end of the course students will be able to
-prepare media
-apply appropriate sterilization techniques
-inoculate and transfer microbes
-count microbes
-calculate cfu per volume or per weigh
-perform basic staining techniques
-evaluate antimicrobial activity
-test the metabolic capabilities of microorganisms
-partly identify the unknown bacteria
