Course Objectives


Course Content

A laboratory course for 2380 306 and 2380 351. A variety of experimental techniques using Drosophila and bacteria in exploring transmission genetics, gene interactions, linkage and genetic mapping, and molecular genetics are covered. Basic recombinant DNA methods for manipulation of Escherichia coli DNA and human chromosomal DNA are also included.
