Course Objectives

A comprehensive course aiming to provide advanced knowledge on physiology.  Students are expected to gain comprehensive knowledge on the different organ systems in the human body.

Course Content

This is a compact course of comparative animal physiology with emphasis on the functions of the human body. The course presents a general survey of operation of all physiological systems, their interactions and cooperation to maintain homeostasis and increase individual and species capacity for adaptation to different and variable life conditions.

Course Learning Outcomes

A comprehensive knowledge of the structure and fucntions of the different organ systems. The students are expected to think of the organism with the different organ systems as an entity, where each system works in an integrated fashion.
