Course Objectives

This course introduces the students to the areas of Business and familiarizes them with the terminology that they will need to develop into successful managers.


Course Content

Basic concepts and principles of Management; the functions of planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling, and their relationships to key issues in Management practice such as leadership, motivation, and communication.

Students completing this course will understand the areas of business and how they are interrelated. They will be able to answer questions like:
