Course Objectives
- Enabling the students to understand reasons for and ways how policies are 'designed' and implemented
- Enabling the students to understand the structure of policy making
- Enabling the students to determine the different actors of decision making processes
- Enabling the students to understand the national and international context(s) of policy implementation
Course Content
In this course advanced topics in policy-making process are studied.
Course Learning Outcomes
After a successful completion of the course the students should be able to:
- Establish an understanding for the importance of political decision making processes resulting in implementing policies
- Establish an understanding of context(s) framing decisions
- Develop the ability for understanding communicational processes guiding the implementation of policy concepts.
- Develop the ability to locate poklicies within the framework of national and international structures and relations
