Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the student will learn:
* the basic phonetical features of Turkish Language.
* the basic features of Turkish speaking language.
* to distinguish the common mistakes of speaking language and correct them. basic techniques of public speaking.
Course Content
Communication, the elements of communication; characteristics of oral communication; special features of Turkish pronunciation; corrects pronunciation; Turkish phonology; affective pronunciation; body language; affective and correct usage of Turkish.
Course Learning Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to: * know the features of Turkish vowels
* know the features of Turkish consonants
* pronounce Turkish phonemes correctly
* identify the main features of Turkish speaking language
* use the correct forms of the commonly mistaken words in Turkish pronounce all the texts in terms of elocution rules
* identify the general techniques of public speaking
