At the end of this course, the student will

  • recognize importance of language and communication in individual and social life
  • realize relations between language and thought.
  • use language effectively and fluently
  • know Turkish language's pronunciation features
  • discuss a matter in a speech
  • apply effective presentation techniques
  • use body language in accordance with the speech
  • know basic rules for good written Turkish
  • evaluates the speech according to different context and points of view
  • prepared to speak to the community at panel, forum, conversation, meeting etc
