Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the student will
- recognize importance of language and communication in individual and social life
- realize relations between language and thought.
- use language effectively and fluently
- know Turkish language's pronunciation features
- discuss a matter in a speech
- apply effective presentation techniques
- use body language in accordance with the speech
- know basic rules for good written Turkish
- evaluates the speech according to different context and points of view
- prepared to speak to the community at panel, forum, conversation, meeting etc
