Open to Economics students and students of Sociology, Education, Regional Planning, and other fields.
Course Content
This course aims to cover data sets encountered in social sciences; sampling techniques; preparing surveys in social sciences; econometric analysis of qualitative variables; and econometric analysis of limited dependent variables.
Course Learning Outcomes
After taking this course, students will be able to understand and implement sampling techniques and econometrics of qualitative and limited dependent variables.
Concrete examples will be provided in classes to make understand these subjects easier. STATA software package will be used for the implementation of techniques to be examined in class.
Students will be able to master these techniques and apply them in their research.
