Course Objectives

The goal of this course is to introduce students to the Classical Statistical Inference and Methods.


Course Content

Order statistics. Likelihood functions and likelihood theory. Exponential families. Point estimation. Some properties of estimators. Interval estimation. Hypothesis testing.


Course Learning Outcomes

Student will be able:

to understand the Parametric approach to Statistical Inferenc,  to evaulate and compare different estimators, to setup/test usueful Statistical Hypothesis.
