By the end of this course, students are expected to be ready to interact with scientists and clients in other fields.
Course Content
Key aspects of statistical consulting and data analysis activities. Formulation of statistical problems from client information. Analysis of complex data sets. Case studies. Writing and presenting reports.
Course Learning Outcomes
Student, who pass the course satisfactorily will be able to:
- formulate statistical problems from nonstatistical ones,
- solve real life problems in teams and individiually,
- learn how to verbally and nonverbally communicate better with statisticians and nonstatisticians,
- learn more about themselves and other personality types.
