Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the student will learn:
- different instructional materials related to chemistry/physics
- simulation software
- out-of-school learning environments
Course Content
Characteristics of various instructional technologies, the place and use of technologies in instructional process, development of teaching materials through instructional technologies (worksheets, transparencies, slides, videotapes, computer-based course material, etc.) and quality assessment of various teaching materials with respect to their feasibility and efficiency for the applications in science/mathematics education.
Course Learning Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:
- choose effective instructional materials from already developed materials
- develop teaching materials
- use instructional technologies in teaching chemistry/physics
- integrate teaching materials into chemistry/physics instruction
