Course Objectives

This course will provide students with a solid understanding of the core areas of green building implications and its association with ethics and environment. The focus will be given to environmental and ecological aspects and the basics of sustainable development towards green building implications that is planned to discuss from technical, environmental, and economical point of view at multidisciplinary level.

Sustainable Development and Sustainable Construction, Green Building Processes and Obstacles, Green Building Movement, Ecological Design, Green Building Assessment, Green Building Globes Assessment System, Sustainable Sites and Landscapes, Low-Energy Building Strategies, Closing Materials Loops, Built Environment Carbon Footprint.

By the end of this course, students will:
