Approximation of functions: function space, continuous and discrete least square approximations; spline functions; Fourier methods:
complex Fourier series, discrete Fourier transform, Fourier integrals; numerical solutions of ordinary differential equations in initial and boundary value problems: error propagation, control of step size.
