Course Objectives
Student will learn;
- what kind of problems s/he might face with as a supervisor
- how to supervise the therapist based on Lacanian theory and practice
- how to handle group dynamics in the supervision group
Course Content
Review of theory and research relevant to conceptualization and practice of clinical supervision; understanding and developing psychotherapy supervision skills with an emphasis on countertransference; discussion on the ethical dilemmas and legal issues inherent in the psychotherapy supervision process.
Course Learning Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:
- handle the transference in different kind of settings in terms of supervision
- supervise the intern therapists based on Lacanian theory and practice
